Today nobody died by some else's hand
Nobody tried to take another's land
No politicians colluded to win the day
Opined their truth, then we had our say

No animals killed for financial gain
No forests felled for reasons insane
We loved our children, did not abuse
We loved each other, is that so obtuse?

We're all the same flesh, blood and bone
Nobody wants to be alone
Does it make sense to bicker and fight?
Just say "excuse me", we have the right
